Bachelor Nation Couple Clayton Echard And Susie Evans Announce ‘Painful Split After 6 Months
It’s over for Clayton Etchard and Susie Evans . The Bachelor Nation couple announced their “sad” separation in a joint statement on Instagram posted on Friday, September 23.
“It is with an incredibly heavy heart that we wanted to share that we have decided to go our separate ways,” said the post on social media, adding that the decision to separate “was not taken lightly.”
Explaining their decision behind the separation, the couple said that “social media is definitely in the spotlight and, as I’m sure many will understand, many of our experiences have been kept private.” However, the former flame noted that there has been “significant pain” in the past year.
“We know that healthy relationships are not without struggle, but we realized we were unprepared for the external forces that prevented us from healing not just as individuals, but as a couple. Clayton and Suzy met on season 26 of The Bachelor , which ended in March 2022. They didn’t leave the show as an engaged couple when he ditched her before her date in a fantasy room with Susie Clayton.

Even though everything seemed perfect between them, Clayton and Suzy made headlines in August when they announced that they had decided not to be together anymore.
