The face of the late Chadwick Boseman and his beloved character T'Challa in the sequel Black Panther: Always Wakanda, appeared on The Wall of Memories and in this adorable Marvel Studios show. But his presence and legacy are deeply felt throughout the film as many characters (and audiences) face pain and go on with their lives facing personal adversity and superheroes.

Director Ryan Coogler delivers a powerful follow-up to the 2018 saga Black Panther that is fun, witty, honest and admirable in world-building, honest with global politics, and packed with great action sequences. (If you missed the Iron Man movies, they are full of people in super suits of armor.)

However, at its emotional core, Wkanda Forever (rated PG-13 out of 4; in theaters now) is also a movie about how people protect their families and legacies, and in a T'Challa way. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Find out where they are and follow those who came before them.

Art that mimics life, the film begins with a loss: T'Challa is dead and her mother, Queen Ramunda (Angela Bassett), now rules in Wakanda. But while T'Challa is more diplomatic, trying to share her prized vitality to the African nation with the world, Ramonda doesn't follow up on her son's death. Instead, it hosts other world leaders who are eager to exploit these natural resources and attack their own people.

America has acquired vibranium sensing technology, not only in Wakanda, it seems, and the hack has revealed another hidden world: Talokan, an undersea country in Central America led by the mysterious Namur (Tenoch Huerta Mejia). A man with real superpowers and not high-tech abilities threatens Riri Williams (Dominic Thorne), a 19-year-old student at MIT who has developed a new device. Wakandian princess Shuri (Letitia Wright) and Dora leader Milaje Okoye (Danai Gurira) set out to protect him.

Who is the new Black Panther?: Here's what we know (so far) about Marvel's 'Ukanda Forever'

In the end, Namor and Shuri get caught up in this drunken battle, so when betrayal causes bad blood, Wakanda Nakia's super spy (Lupita Nyong'o) enters the fray and someone takes on the role of Black Panther. . A movie that achieves a lot in 2 hours and 41 minutes.

Wakanda Forever taps into Captain America: The Winter Soldier's geopolitical realism and thriller elements more than any Marvel movie. Screenplay by Coogler and Panther Joe's original writer Robert Cole, the film explores the effects of isolationism and the temptation of global superpowers, while also exploring the history of the Talocan people and Mayan culture. The first Black Panther movie surprisingly exposed the world of Wakanda, and the sequel revived another community with interesting traditions and a tragic history that, for good reason, doesn't want to reveal itself to the rest of civilization.

Mejia, as Killmonger in the first "Tiger" movie by Michael B. And as newcomer Riri (teen Tony Stark), Thorne brings lightness to hard work.

The returning Wakandan team gets the most important character development pieces. Some characters, like Winston Duke's adorable M'Baku, are adapting to new roles, while others (most notably Wright and Bassett's daughter duo) have transformative arcs that test their faith. Wakanda is full of interesting women – questioning each other, making tough decisions, and having fun challenges to watch.

It's Christmas movie season packed with titles "Ukanda Forever," "Avatar 2" and "Babylon."

Falling short of its predecessor, Wakanda Forever is an extraordinary endeavor that combines Boseman's charm and masterful acting with Coogler's gift of world-class storytelling. But the sequel offers similar technical results (the costumes and location design are simply amazing) and plot points from the original film, allowing the final film to deal with T'Challa's death in a very realistic and original way.

The new Black Panther celebrates and honors the fallen hero and shows that this corner of the MCU is in very strong hands.
